LOOK WHAT I F$#@%$% got
I'm currently paying $8800 for insurance, this ticket will take me to $12000 a year, resulting in me selling my CL.
The ticket is for 65km in a 50km zone...but i was originally going 80km, which is 30km over... the cop gave me a break, but this 15KM will put me off to 12K insurance, which i CANNOT afford, too many expenses...
Now would a lawyer get rid of this for sure?..i just called my lawyer and he said that he can get rid of it, for 250 bucks...
fuck, do i need a lawyer?..can i just go and make up some BS since 15KM is like the lowest you can get..and that it doesnt even give you points...??
does it matter that i was going 30 and the cop gave me 15?..would this affect the courts outcome?
BTW, in Ontario, insurance companies dont go by points, they go by CONVICTIONS, which includes this...
In other news today, i got my Polarg-M6's on, dealership charged me 20 bucks to do it...

That's about $7800/year for us U.S. folks. I can't imagine having insurance that expensive. When mine went over $1000 one time, I freaked out.
I say get a lawyer! Good Luck, hope it doesn't result in a used CL on the market.

Amir, I'm a lawyer in Buffalo and have friends in Toronto that are lawyers. If you want me to put you in touch w/ one of them, let me know. No, I'm not trying to drum up biz for lawyers, but I certainly don't want to see an ins co get more blood out of you than they already are--WTF, 8K/year? 15kmh is equal to what, 5-7 mph? This sucks! Just email me privately and I'll respond if you need the help.

Amir, sorry about the ticket. I can't believe the insurance amount! I'm only paying about US$1100 a year, and mine never went up with tickets. I guess my insurance company doesn't keep close tabs on tickets.

Amir, WTF do you do for a living (Really) to be able to afford that kind of insurance payment (assuming you are paying around $700/month).

Amir, I don't know how it is in Canada, but if you switch insurance (like I did just a few months ago) they don't always check for every ticket you got. Does it matter if you switch insurance companies in Canada? Just a suggestion...I lowered mine by about 40% by switching.

seriuosly, i have traveled a LOT..seena lot of cities, etc...
From Florida, to New York, to Cali, Paris, South of France, Germany, athens, parts of spain, many 3rd world countries, the caribeans, lots, that i am not mentionging.. and you know what, i think i live in the best city. 2nd place would have to be Malaga, more specifically Puerto Banas.. the only thing its missing is the job market..
Other than that, Toronto, is by far, the best city to live in, in mm opinion.
Its was also in the TOP 5 places to live in the WORLD, by the United Nations.
Everything in Toronto is perfectly BALANCED. From the weather, to nightlife, to the job market..everything, you name it, is balanced.

If you haven't been there, don't knock it. It kicks the shit out of Florida buddy. A progressive, clean society with beautiful countryside and cities to boot. Best of all, it isn't crazyass crowded like it is here in NYS. I'm looking into buying a second home in Montreal as we speak and can't wait to be "stuck in Canada."
