yeah nobody likes racing up here in vancouver either. its usually just random guy flooring it and if you get stuck at a light with that guy then its kind of a race when it turns green haha

 

i raced yesterday on the way back home Porsche Carrera Cabrio(2002-2004 idk). that was fun... i sit on his back and then he saw me in the rear view that was about 55-60mph... he downshifted so i did the same i he was walking away but it wasnt that bad :P about 2-3 car lenghts. hard to say :P 60-130 he won but im satsified with the result that was porsche

Thanks. I've been racing at that track alot, so i've mastered the launch on this car. I also lowered my front tire pressure so i guess that helped.

By the way, the camaro was a rental car some guy brought

I haven't done the 1/4 yet, i'll probably do that once i get headers and some pulleys. I lowered the psi to 24

 

I like it. It's a great way to get good at launching your car because that's the key thing to winning those short races.

Ummmmm, some other cars you don't know about. That was funny. Was it a Yugo GL or an Aston Martin Vanquish? Hmmmmm. Doesn't matter. Chances are if you don't remember the kill, then the kill wasn't worth remembering.

It's cool, though. I don't remember half of my kills but I've been street racing for over 25 years, give or take.

 

I agree that AMG as well as M series BMW's are bad ass. However, if you use an AMG or an M series as a daily driver be prepared to create a bank account just to deal with regular maintenance.

 

I hear ya, I really like the E39 M5 but I've read that the S62 engine 4.9 V8 with a 7000 red line, may have a problem with the main bearings. Thats the only thing that worries me about the car.
