lightning handed me my A$$
woe whats up with them ford SVT lightninig got me by about three cars up to 60 or so i dont think i got the best launch no vsa but iwas in SS????no wheel spin http://www.svt.ford.com/lightning2000_specs.html
...just did alittle research assuming no mods 6.2 0-60 so it shoulda been closer maybe it was me maybe the cars still to new i only have 400 miles on her ya i know 600+ breakin but i figured alittle jump aint gonna hurt???any input?

typeR, I think the Ford is being OVERLY conservative with those numbers because of all of the trouble they got into with overrating the HP specs on the GTs a while back.

They are real fast, and the 2001 Lightning is going to have 380hp ...up 20. A few bolt on goodies and that truck is 400hp+
There is guy with a black one near me, with stainless grill inserts, tint all around....I'm waiting to run him off the road in the Viper- since the Acura has no chance

I did not notice, 22s was for 0 to 100 mph and bact o mph so the 8s is to get from 100mph to 0mph. ------------------
