That's definetely an impressive work you've done to this car. I would drive up from my house in Miami to your place just to get mine serviced by you. I also agree with not spending a lot of money on my car if I can service it myself.

I don’t know of a good rattles thread so I intend on making a good one and covering every rattle I have found. I will take some stuff back apart for you. I have not forgotten and every time I see your post I remember you are waiting. I will do it. Jim

Thats quite a list with specifics. Remove the side motor mount, timing belt cover, other belts, crank pulley, and then hold the auto tensioner. Its not easy and if you have to ask, dont evem try this without a service manual. Its $100 or less, you have an Acura, just get it.

My first thought almost verbatim.
I have dozens of manuals. One for every car I have ever owned. I no longer own most of the cars, the manuals remain.

You will get to see what it dynos at very very soon. I will be doing a non supercharger dyno, a supercharger dyno and then a hbp, emanage and some other surprises dyno. plus I may pull the heads and port match and polish them. There will be pics. I know it’s not safe and I do not advocate speeding and racing on the street but I was on the interstate this weekend for about 700 miles and it opened up and there was not a car in sight for miles. I got up to 100 in fourth and then slammed the throttle. My lady and I were still slammed into the seats.

I have no idea how many hp the p&p added but Im sure it was at least 10. The only other thing I did was the UR sc cranck pulley and there is def more power than what I suspect that would have added alone after the work.
Louisiana can be very hot and humid!
sinfulj32,
thanks.

hey jproy. i'm a little bit of a noob when it comes to the SC CLs. i got the HBP and am about to get an emanage as well. i've also researched some old SC threads and it seems as though bigger injectors should also accompany the HBP. so should i be ok installing the HBP with bigger injectors(S2K), the emanage, and a tune?

Yeah,
That’s my lady! Busted! She got an RDX and I made her join and showed her how to navigate the site. She loves it.
Planting the foot at 100 and still pulling hard is sick if you have never felt it! It’s about to get much better!
I think the stock injectors are fine for the 6lb pulley and even the 9lb pulley. You will be pushing them but it has been done without problems here already. It won’t hurt to use the bigger injectors though and I don’t think it is a problem with the emanage.
I think the UR pulley made a noticeable difference when it was on the car before the blower went on and the SC UR pulley made a difference as well also. It was much easier to spin the tires and it revved much quicker.
I will be taking it to the dyno this Thursday or Tuesday next week for a base line run with and without the blower. Then I am tearing it apart and changing the shafts in the heads that make the valves open and close with one that makes them open a little more. That is all I am going to say!!! Next I am building a one off custom exhaust with a RT high-flow cat similar to the one fsttyms1 made in the second gen TL section but much different. After that it is off to Birmingham AL to see Jim Helbing at Motorvations Motorsports in Trussville 5min north of bham. I will be installing the 6lb pulley, the emanage and the boomslang harness. Jim H. will be doing all the tuning. He is a master and has done several already and is very well connected in the industry. He has built some of the craziest motors I have ever seen and has developed many products in the tuner scene for some large companies. I am lucky to have him this far south and on the east side of the country. Look him up if you are in the area. He is a really cool guy. I have known him for about 10 years. It should all be done for sure within the next two months.

I just got home from the Dyno Jet. I made 278hp max and 233tq max of three pulls. It was 101.2 degrees in the dyno booth and 18% humidity(very humid).
I removed the blower and made 245hp max and 214tq max without it in the same conditions 30 minutes after the last blower run. I will post the dyno pics and vids in a bit. I will be changing the cams tomorrow morning and then a dyno in the afternoon or Friday morning.
