Had some work done on my 6MT recently so been lurking here. Purchased in 2004, a year old with 7500 miles, flew to OK from TX to get it.
Now has 140k, still just as fun to drive, but hate the brakes always needing fixes and roof clearcoat failing now. While it was in the shop I drove my friend's CRV. Missed my CLS so much.

Yeah its definitely aged well and blends right in despite its age. Car is tons of fun on the open highway!

I especially love seeing other copies of mine on the road. I've got the silver Type-S 6-speed. So rare but so special! I bought my wife a 2014 Honda Accord Hybrid. I love driving her car for the smooth ride and mileage, but it sucks not having all those horses at the ready when I need to sneak in between trucks or road rage some a-hole.

Don't see too many exact copies of the one I have in the NY metro area. I like the fact that it's unique. And I completely agree, it has the perfect amount of pick me up to get shit done around assholes on the road.

nice ride, bro. Def dig the wheels. I'm 100% stock (for now), but I appreciate all the work you guys put into yours. I've probably got a few too many knicks and scratches to want to polish it that well

Had my 01 auto for about three years. I have replaced everything you could imagine. Subframes, suspension, steering system, fuel tank and system. Brake system....Jdm inspire drivetrain swap when the tranny failed and the list goes on.... I bought the 03 6spd about a year and a half ago and it is in amazing shape, I dont drive the car far....just to keep the seals good......but only because over the last year i have collected the whole comptech line up, aem fic6 and all the goodies to make THE CL

Owned some type of CL since 2003

I got my first CL in 2003, a 1997 2.2 CL. Then in 2009, I bought my Dad's 2003 Acura CL Type-S 6MT. Drive it until 2015. Sold it to a friend, and one year later, begged him to sell it back to me. Even though he put 15K miles on it, I paid him the exact amount he paid me, just to get it back Now, I've had it back for one year, and I've done a ton of stuff to it: Iridium NGK, manual trans flush, brake flush, clutch slave cyl flush, coolant flush, air filter, cabin filter, brake rotors/pads, ball joints, all 4 struts and mounts, tints, bluetooth head unit, shift knob, etc... My wife thinks I'm crazy. She's actually encouraging me to just go buy a new damn car already! Not until something breaks that's gonna cost > $1500 or so will I finally give up on it. I love my Type-S!

I bought my 03 CL-S brand new in August of 02. The 1st of the last.....
worked for Honda at the time so I had the VIN before it was even done in production. Like a sonogram of my baby....

Still have it, about 120k or something on it. I forgot as to I use my Toyota pickup, MDX more often...

Still love it though.

...and that blue one up there a few posts ago is sick AF!

Cool thread BTW

Purchased in 2007 with ~60k. Now has 189k. Work remotely so I don't put on a ton of miles most of the time, other than road trips. Just filled the tank on Monday for the first time since the end of December. Still love it.
