LED's in the roadlamp project
Looking for critisism on this project i've had in mind:
My solution is to line a few(about 6)5mm white LED's along the top (maybe 1 blue in the mix) and sides of the roadlamp housing with the LED's aimed into the roadlamp housing in order for them to appear to be white and bright. I understand the electrical aspects of doing this but would like some input on how you guys think it will turn out. I'm mostly concerned with filling the housing with white light. I do not want you to be able to see the light source, and I do not want you to be able to see the bulbs in daylight, all of which I think can be accomplished. The drain of the LED's will still allow me to run a Polarg m6 in the factory outlet. Here's the block of LED's i'm considering.

Interesting, might work. Then again might just look kind of strange to see these lamps comming towards you?? All depends on placement of the led's I guess.
Has anyone ever sucessfully installed small HIDs (the real deal) in the road lamps before?

yeah, placement of the LED's is most certainly the key to this trick. I can always adjust the intensity by stepping down the voltage more.
Here's someone who put fogs in stock housing. I think it's seattlecls or something like that.
