I had the same issue,, My Acura dealer first re-stained the seat ,,, that fixed the problem,, they also would have changed the top half if the re stain didn't work. So far at 56k miles no return problems

If I may speeak as a service representative of an Acura dealer, for those of you still under base factory warranty, do not lay down and submit to the crap that your dealer is telling you. If someone with a leather concern comes in to see me, I get my svc mgr to inspect. There is no such thing as normal wear and tear on this leather. As long as the leather is not torn, it should be covered. It is where I'm at. Just the other day, an 02 rsx - 18k on it - was covered. Both sides. Tops only because they were the only ones that were wrinkled. If your dealer wants to be asses, be one too. Request a visit with the factory rep. And this includes you too, Finsterbaby. If you just bought the damn thing, they may want to do a goodwill for you. 9 times out 10 the dealer doesn't want to screw with this because their tech has to do it. I'm not speaking for Jens or any other tech on the forum, but most techs do not like to do this type of job. So ball up and don't stop until you have exhausted all avenues to correct this problem.
