leather in '01 is wrinkling
The leather on my passenger seat is getting wrinkled like old skin.
It is still under warranty. Not sure if it is a defect but the texture and feel are different visually and to the touch.
Has anyone seen this?

wrinkley leather..
Yeah it is only on the 1/4 pieces. I am not sure why but seems like it isn't right > it is only on passenger seats and only on the 1/4 pieces.. weird.

that is a natural characteristic of any leather....is this the first time youve ever seen a leather seat? couch? jacket? shoes?? when the product is manufactured, the leather is very new tight...however after being sat on or worn and stretched, the leather gets broken in...that is simply what is happening, its not a defect, there is nothing you can do about it, its a natural characteristic....now, if it was CRACKING thats another story, but the wrinkles are just part if the natural way leather is...look at a leather couch...ive got some and let me tell you, when i bought them, the leather was so new and tight that they almost looked like FAKE leather..but after having them for 2 years, they are nice and creased and wrinkled and broken in and softer...thats how it should be

wrinkles
I understand leather that gets worked in and even leather that shows its age as this is my 2nd cl and the other cl I have is a '97.
So I have seen normal wear and tear, obviously.
What I am talking about is diffent, though. It is like the leather only on the passenger seat, not the driver's seat where I sit every day, has this weird wrinkely wear that looks like at some point it will crack. Almost like this is the pre-cursor to cracking..
I have 20%tint on my windows, so it isn't sun exposure related.
