K20 Acura RSX-S Fuel Injectors & S/C
I have a question regarding the rsx fuel injectors and the hbp s/c. I was considering getting the k20s off a member in the bm, but I dunno if I can run stock fuel injectors on a hbp or would I need to upgrade. I think siggy did it on his swap, but I wanto know if I really need them?

not sure if rsx will fit on J32...
we need something like this Okada Ignition coils but it's too expensive and we don't have something for J engines
MSD make a similar product for DIS, but also not sure if it's gonna work...

I think there is only a certain amount of tuning you can do before you reach a plateau where injector upgrade becomes almost a necessity, especially with HBP. If S2K injectors have higher flow and are guaranteed to be compatible, why not go with them? I am sure you can find some for less than brand new cost somewhere.

Then there's my kit, tried and proven and in excellent shape. People always try to save a buck, but in the end, disaster, take a look at the vvv666net site, logans old kit. seems it was a complete failure and waste of money. Mine, you just bolt on and go. And you can thank allmotor for that. look here... https://acurazine.com/forums/showthr...hlight=thinjim

sig, how much did you pay for your injectors? The place on ebay is trying to sell me 6 for $529. Is that a good price? I had no luck w/ the forum, but if I went w/ samir's rsx ones what would be the downside? Their only like 60 compared to 529

It's not magic, throwing in larger injectors doesn't guarentee anything except that the ecu will shorten the pulse of the injectors because they are larger.
Big injectors = ecu shortening the pulse
stock injectors = ecu trying to lengthen the pulse if needed
Pulse = the time that the injectors stay on spraying
All you need is a piggyback and a good tune. That will help whatever problem or fear you're having of running lean/rich/or whatever it is you want.
Stock ecu's will always compensate for whatever it is you throw at them.
Tuning is everything.

It's always good if you are going to run HBP to Emanage tune and take it from there, it may be fine...better than wasting money on injectors if you don't need them for your setup

dude, seriously...
you can use your stock injectors using any type of piggyback, even with comptech's ESM, the only reason why most people use the blue e-manage is that it's proven to work with j32 engine real well and they get more out of it
with the ESM you are limited on tuning and basically will push your injectors to death.
with the e-manage it can have a total duty cycle of around 80% at 6k RPM which is safe and you can still have more room for improvement (power)
BTW, i'll let you know if i still have my HBP...
