Just saw a 6-speed go for $14,600 in my hometown...
Wow,
Man the adrenaline was flowing, I wanted to bid so bad, but I didn't have time to talk with my parents on such short notice. Would have been an amazing deal, and was for some lucky person, but I think I was wise not to bid. It was a little bit more than I wanted to spend. Well worth it mind you, but I'm holding out for a PDG or a 328Ci. Almost bought it to drive for a little while, then sell for profit, but I don't have the time for that. What do you guys think??!?!?! http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...e=STRK:MEWA:IT

Not to mention that we don't know if there was shill-binding involved.
No dealer in their right mind would let that car go for that low a price unless there was something seriously wrong with the car(ie: Just because carfax says it's clean, doesn't mean the car wasn't repaired out-of-pocket by the previous owner, etc.)

That car has definately been re-painted, and they did a really bad job at it. There is poor blending on the lower portion below the door and there is absolutely no fading taking place from the door on back. The car was definately hit, and very noticable difference on the paint. I had part of my SSM repainted and I still can't see where it was done.

if you dont mind about the accident, fixing that paint would tack on a couple hundred to the low price of the car, so no biggie. as long as you can find out that there was no damage to the chasis, i dont see what the big deal is

carfax is clean,
dealer put it on ebay right after he bought it from the auction.
something has got to be wrong with it because it went up on ebay rather fast and didnt even sit on the lot.
