Where can I get the manifold gaskets?? OEMAcuraparts.com is currently down I believe. Should I just wait for the site to come back up?

You could go to an Acura dealer i believe.
Do you have a manual tranny? I've been waiting for them to get them back in stock for the m/t.

Ordered my headers from ssautochrome.com on thursday night. They sent me a tracking number for fedex and when I check it it says on truck for delivery for next business day!! Have ordered new gaskets from oemacuraparts.com and header wrap from some random site I found, also to be here by wed. Hope to have the install done next weekend in time for the PA June 7th meet. I'm gonna go get new bolts once the headers arrive so I have something to compare with when buying them. Super excited! Haven't done an exhaust since we modded 3.8 mustang factory headers to fit my Supercharged XR7 in 2001.

How hard are they to install? I will be buying some soon and want to install them myself. Also, will it sound better if I remove the resognator?

I didn't ... I e-mailed and asked for one and they never responded - but headers arrived in less than 2 weeks (to Vancouver, Canada)

I want to purchase these from oemacuraparts.com. Can someone provide links to the correct gaskets for a 03 type S 6spd?

I am pretty sure I have the correct ones but would definitely like to be sure!

Thanks all!

Yes they should. Part number for the gasket that goes between the header and the block: 18115-P8E-A01

#3 in the picture. You will need 2 of them.

You will likely pay a lot more for them at a dealership. I just called my local Acura dealership and they want $28 each for them. They run about $13-14 online.

The wrap I ordered for some reason never went though. I passed on ordering online and bought it from advance auto instead. However I am a little disappointed in OEMacuraparts.com. I placed the order Thursday May 22nd and it didn't process until the next Wednesday. Now the tracking number says it will be here on June 3rd. My headers from ssautochrome came in less than a week. Ordered thursday and arrived tuesday and that was with Memorial Day weekend. For the few dollars saved i'll just go to my local dealership next time. I hoped to have all this installed by now and now I just looked at it everyday in my garage! I'll be scrambling to have this installed by the PA meet June 7th. Good luck with your install!

Finally Installed!!!

After a failed attempt to install them myself, I got a local shop to do the install. They wrapped the flex pipe for me. I got gaskets from Acura, bolts from Loews, wrap from auto zone, and headers from SSAutoChrome. Everything said and done was around $350 installed. I couldn't be happier with the sound or the power upgrade. The headers sound very quiet at idle and the cabin noise was increased by maybe a decible. When cruising at 2500-3500 rpms they have a very mild drone which I like alot. The exhaust note is sick. I like it alot alot!! Thanks to acurazine and all its members for the help and info in getting just the exhaust I wanted!

He may be including the price of the headers, the gaskets, bolts and labor in that price. If that's the case it would be reasonable.

$350 is definately including installation, headers, gaskets, and bolts.

I can't wait to get headers...I will hopefully get them by August. I gotta pay around $950 taxes, emissions, plates, and tags for my car by June 30th!
