Just had comptech sway bars installed!

Just had comptech sway bars installed!(with stock springs and tires)
The highway and local bumpy road ride is unaffected compared to stock. The turning ability is fantastic. I checked it out on a very curvy road. In one spot where before I could feel the opposite wheels just about lift off the ground, this time the CL Type S had all four tires planted firmly on the ground. Much better traction when turning, all the tires stay on the ground with good weight on them, it doesn't lean like a boat anymore! More confident feel, and the stock tires grip very well. Steering is also more responsive. To me, this is how the CL Type S's suspension should have been from the factory.

They were purchased and installed by Park Avenue Acura, did an excellent job! Jens is a great guy, he definitely knows his stuff! Also met Wayne and Pete, very nice place. It was worth the hour ride to have the work done by them!

Glad to hear that you were happy with Park Ave's service. They are putting mine in on the 12th. Good luck with them...

How much did you guys pay for installation? Just the sway bars, no springs.

I called Acura of Concord and was quoted $280 for intallation. That sounds a lot. Anyone had it done at a reasonable price in the Bay area?

$280? What do sway bars do exactly? I can swing that... bit I'll probably wait a year or two.

Thanks.
So having sway installed by an independent is not a problem at all? I guess it's just simple enough for the sway hah. thanks.
