Just had 90K service and now recommendations....
Guys,
Just had the 90K service at stealership....
They are suggesting service for these things:
A/C Filter $139
EVAP Clean $101
EFI $189
Are these things I can do myself? Forgive my stupidity. I will be doing a "search" but if anyone can chime in, I'd appreciate.
Thanks,
BigK

A/C filter you can do for under $25 and 25 minutes of your time...

I'm going to try and find the cheaper bosch filters at autozone instead of using the purolators from pepboys next time...

I passed on some stuff that the dealer "recommended" at my 45K service... I've been following the Factory recommendations:

Haven't done the brake fluid yet, but I will when it starts looking "funky"...
The EFI might be something to do if it includes cleaning the throttle body and IACV (idle air control valve). They don't usually go into the details of what those "services" include. Cleaning the TB and IACV is something you could probably do to...
Oh, I was quoted $139 for the EFI up here at my 45K service (skipped it).
