Just got my car back from service.

Took it to my dealer, Acura of Troy.

Here's what I had requested.

Oil Change
Brake Vibration
Winsheild Trim buckling and coming loose
Reardeck Rattle
Passenger side air bag had started to "bubble" in the top right corner over the past couple of weeks.
Driver's Seat leather wearing and cracking.

What they did...
Gave me a teg loaner (At least it's transportation)
Changed the oil
Replaced front rotors and pads (no arguements)
Replaced the winsheild trim
Replaced the airbag module
Installed some felt in the area's of the reardeck they think is causing the rattle. (said we will see if it helps)
Ordered a new drivers seat skin; which hadn't come in yet. I have to make a return visit to get it installed.

So basically this was a very good visit. Debbie G. in service is awesome.

My third visit to them for service, so far so very good. I invited Debbie (The Service Manager) to come here and take a look around. MAybe she can get some ideas, maybe she can help out the local guys. We'll see.

Update!

Rear deck rattle is still there.

My wife and I went to dinner on friday. While negotiating a turn on a rather bumby chunk of pavement. My rearview mirror fell off of it's windsheild mount. Swinging around by the wire. A bit of a hairy thing to have happen in pretty heavy traffic.

To say the least, I am not happy about this. Service dept. opens at 7:30 am. Tirade at 7:31.

Whoaaaa. Sit tight as they really seemed to give you nearly a thousand dollars worth of fixes with very little excuses. Rattles can be a pain in the @ss and it seemed as if they tried their best on all accounts. I wish I had a service department like that.

Ya your lucky. I bitched about the same things and they had an excuse for all of them. I guess I will make another attempt here in the next week or so...
