just crying a bit here about tuning
i would love to get a tune on this j32, i feel that it can benefit from a tune and breather mods.......
a tune without piggy back
a few years ago, a friend of mine went to a shop and they "sent" his computer out to get flashed.......im pretty sure they screwed him lol
but has anyone gotten close or been any bit successful in tuning the stock computer???

The stock ECU can NOT be reflashed. Your only real options are a piggyback/full standalone

I dunno what's the big fus. The only reason why u cannot flash the ecu is cause it's already great to begin with. Unlike a ford u mod it and it doesn't kno how to correct for the new air coming in for example. That's why everyone has those scan tools to tweak the ecu settings. As for our ecu it's smart enough that it can figure most of the variables out itself.
So consider ourselves lucky...

tuning a NA car does not mean you want max hp out of it, its fine tuning what you have, changing parameters and hoping you pick up some good power
another question, has anyone done a SAFC???

I would go with both at the same time. I don't blame honda. I blame it on the cl being a North American only model. The models sold in North America only are the ones with no aftermarket support. Aem has made a stand alone that works on j swap civics and tegs, but they didn't see a reason to make a version for the cl for financial reasons not because ecu.
