Just bought my 2nd CL-P
I just bought my 2nd CL-P. An 03 with 61K for $9000. Sold an 01 with 106K for 7000 and didn't have to do anything to it except brakes and tires (bought it with 56K. I looked around an thought I would find something else but ended up in the same place. Its just a lot of car for small dollars.
A couple questions;
Has anyone ever removed the pinstripes?
I'm interesed in removing the spoiler;
Should I try to find a trunk lid that matches or remove it and try to fill the holes?
Also I'm looking for 04-05 TL wheels and tires if anyone is selling?

I sprayed some Easy Off oven cleaner into a cup then used a q-tip to dab some of it onto the pinstripe then let it sit for 2-3 minutes while the pinstripe started to bubble up then i used qtips and lots of water to remove the pinstripe paint. Then i polished and waxed and it was good to go.
I know it sounds kinda crazy but just be careful and it should work out fine.

CL6- If you remove the pinstripes most of the time the paint will be a different color than on the rest of the car... looks bad on darker colors.
