I just picked up my anthracite 2003 CLS w/ 6 speed earlier today and absolutely love it.

As of now it has about 47k miles on it, so the warranty is about up. I was wondering if you guys had any advice for me, as a new owner, on what I may want to have the dealership check out before the warranty lapses? Any common issues with the CLS I need to keep an eye out for?

Congrats. You might check into an extended warranty from Acura. Unless the clutch was abused you should have no worries. The brake rotors can warp but my current CLS has not had that problem, I'm at 21k miles.

Sunroof rattles, rear deck rattles, rearview mirror dimmer not looking right, car revving on it's own. All I can think of at the present.

I had actually ment to ask about the extended warranty my first post. I did some searching of old threads and it didn's turn up too much. Do you guys think it is worth the 1k? The previous owner had minimal problems with the car and took excellent care of it. Also much of milage is from highway driving.
