Jet-Hot Comptech Headers Installed!!!!!

First, the car is absolutely a different car! The car pulls and pulls and pulls, 2nd and 3rd gear are awesome! Blah blah blah, just like all header owners. The car too has a nice throaty sound to go along with the AEM CAI.

But the BIGGEST thing yet.........

Jet-Hot has made marvelous work! The coating holds up to their name and reputation....

Pop the hood.....

Barely (hardly noticeable) heat comes from the engine compartment. Everyone I showed this to was amazed! That normal "heat blast in the face when you pop the hood" is gone, it feels so cold! Like the car was never started......

And the other good thing, no discoloration!

I'll update everyone with pics soon.

Oh yeah, with the WBO2, on a warm engine, I'm getting a A/F reading of 14.7-8:1

Dips a little lean during VTEC, to be expected.

Overall, I'm very glad I bought the unit off Steve, should help a lot once the S/C goes on.

Congrats.

Good looking and functional. Can't beat that and $268 is very reasonable. I'm tempted to pull mine out and have them done.

On a 3rd gear pull, I'm seeing a 12.5-6:1 A/F @ WOT.

It is pretty cool to be able to watch the numbers at idle and then at WOT. It was definitely the most informative gauge I have ever installed.
