Jet-Hot

If I send brand new headers out to Jet-Hot to get them coated, do they coat the inside or just the outside?? I would hate for them to flake on the inside eventually. Suggestions, advice? Thanks.

I'm pretty sure the process of coating them involves dipping them into the liquid, thus the insides would also be coated.

Even if it flaked down the road, it wouldn't be going into the engine anyway, right? The headers just take the exhaust from the engine out to the tail exhausts right? So what would the worst that could happen be, clog my catalytic converter a little?

Honestly I don't know, but I've never heard of the coating flaking off.

Your best bet is to shoot NiteQwill a PM. He had his coated. He'd be able to give you an answer.
