JE Pistons

So i contacted a rep for custom pistons from http://www.jepistons.com/

This is what he had to say: We make those on a custom basis. You will need to provide us with a sample
stock piston to design it from.

The price is about $165 each piston and the current lead time is 4 weeks.

If you're supercharge/turbo-ing your car, absolutely. Otherwise, I don't really see the point.

I've got a set of JE Forged pistons that were made for a 3.5L upgrade. They were designed to yield 10.2 compression. I bought them from DeansblackCLS a couple of years ago:

There may be info on or in the box that would lead them to their original design work if you want me to look.

If you are going to be running all motor, I don't think you need to do it. If you adding forced induction, I have an aftermarket piston/rod set for sale in the blackmarket.

i'd like to see how of a compression the J can handle and be street safe. 11.5:1 or maybe 12:1 but that would be taking a serious risk with money.
