It's official now...had to put the CL up for sale
I'm completely bummed. I spent this weekend pulling the mods off my baby to get her ready for sale. This weekend was bad enough, really don't want to think about some stranger takin my baby home with them.
I put an ad up in the black market section this morning, so we'll see what happens. Hopefully someone from here who can appreciate what they are getting will buy my car. I'm wanting to see what sort of response I get from here before resorting to advertising in the local paper or autotrader.

I won't be replacing it with anything. I already drive the 240 to college all the time. I got the 240 because I started to notice door dings from parking in the college parking lot.
Yeah, I got in a bind....nothing ever gets done when you combine the bureaucracies of government and universities. But, I guess once I do finally get out of college and start making money again...I'll be able to get another awesome car like the CL.
I'm just hoping there is a decent market in the Houston area. There are enough people around, that it would seem that it should go pretty quick. I looked on autotrader, the closest CL with a manual is 300 miles from here.

CLS 6MT Navi
Good luck, hopefully someone in Houston is looking for one just like yours.
but I paid the same for my 6 speed Navi a year ago with 7500 miles.
but I got a good deal.
I wouldn't sell mine, there's nothing I'd rather have......
well, I did see a 1995 6-speed Legend Coupe in the paper with only 80k miles, but they wanted $9500 for it. I always wanted a 6 speed Legend, but I also like no repairs and full warranty on my CLS. I need to drive it to see if I would really sell my CLs for it.

Sorry to hear you have to let her go.
Once you're out of school i'm sure you'll be replacing her with something even better.
Maybe Chopper would want a SSM CL instead.

This is very true... the only problem with that is I won't be out of school until 2010 if everything goes well. But hey, then I can make reservations under Dr. my name.
