intercooler?

i went to apexi.com and searshed for a 2003 acura cl and found a few things for the vehicle, one of them is a hybrid intercooler, it looks like it is made for the intake, not a power additive, i.e. supercharger or turbo, anyway. i just want to know what it is for, is it for the 2003 acura cl, it says it is, the website is below, when it pops up it wont have the car on it, but it will have the hybrid intercooler. but if you search for acura:make, cl:model, and 2003:year it will bring it up, does anyone know what its for? please let me know.

That's a universal part. It isn't made directly for the CL. And it is to be used with a turbo or supercharger.

You'll need a fair amount of custom plumbing, including a new place to mount the MAP sensor since you'll have to do away with the Comptech elbow. You'll also lose alot of boost response since you'll be increasing the volume of air dramatically.

can you have an intercooler without a supercharger or turbo? or do you need those to "push" the air through the intercooler?

No point in having one without forced induction.
