Installing a Spoiler
Hey
I have an 03 CLS without a spoiler, and since I love the look of the car with a spoiler I want to get one. I see on ebay they have them for about $170 painted to match my color code.
I was wondering if anyone has had experience with these, how the quality is, and what is entailed in installing them.
Is it an easy job? I am not very mechanical but not a total moron either.
THanks in advance

You might want to do a search for someone who has a spoiler and doesn't want it. They might be willing to just switch trunk lids with you. When you do the search, you'll find that there are a lot of people that don't like their spoilers and might want to trade.

What color? I got mine from spoilerdepot. It came painted for like 225 + shipping. A place up in Fullerton, MD installed it for $75. BTW check the Meet & Greet forum for our MD/DC/VA gatherings.

The Spoiler Depot has a sweet setup and are very professional. It is easy to install but I had it installed for 75$.. It came out to a total of 315$ for everything.

Got mine from someone in Canada doing business on ebay. I think the spoiler and paint job came to $235 shipped. The paint is stock quality.. This dealer paints sproilers for many car dealers in Canada. The spoiler looks real close to OEM and comes with a guarentee.
I did the install myself. I was a little nervous about drilling but read some good instructions on this forum. Check it out
