The wiring is going to be exactly the same for HID ballasts or projectors, either way you're asking a wire in the car to flip the relay and let your lights pull power from the battery (if you do it correctly).
With HID lights - your power and ground run to the ballast, and with normal lights it runs right to the bulbs.

It looks nice when on, but fitment just isnt right. If I had the time and patience, I would fit them into the 03 inserts, instead of having the shaq eyes

does anyone have these lights fit perfect after they cut it? i see alot of people have a slight hole towards the inside of the light.... and i dont want to go through the work of putting them behind the bumper... it seems like people are cutting too much of the plastic fog light piece?

if someone has them for sale around the bay area where i can just pick up right away for the inserts ill get them asap.... i dont really need them, but just incase i decide to do a different mod... then i will be selling my roadlamps for $65 shipped (price might be high, but im not really looking to go through the trouble of selling/shipping etc. so unless someon really wanted them)
