Installed my Fogs finally.

Custom mounted on my 03 where the road lamps go. PIAA 001 Yellow fogs. Got yellow cause I couldn't get a good match with the stock HID's. These seem to be good. Since it's been raining like crazy they do work good, & I can see better. I'm using the TL factory fog light switch, I still need to finish that part though. Should be up today. Here are some pics.

Wiring is basic. Power, ground, & turn on. Had the relay all wired already I just ran the wires where they needed to go. Ran turn on to the drivers side marker light. This way the lights only go on when the cars lights are on, & I can turn them off if I want. The lights are mounted into the black housings using stainless hardware painted black. The lights are a good fit, but they were troublesome. The drawback is when I need to change bulbs, I have to un-mount everything. Not hard but a PITA.

Nice install. Looks good. I did the same thing originally (tapping into the side marker.) Remember, however, that when you remote lock your car the side markers flash. Unless you turn off your fogs separately, they will flash too. I went through a few bulbs prematurely. I ended up running a wire to the fuse box in the upper left corner and tapped directly into the low beam headlights. That way, the fogs only come on when the lights are on but won't flash when you lock the car. Just my .02.

Didn't think of that. I was going to turn them off each time anyway.

No Comptech badge, don't think it was me.

DIY instructions? Didn't really make any.
All I did was unmount the 6 speed black housings(held on by a screw you can access by taking the front cover off by the hood latch)
Drill a 1/4 hole in each housing for the wires.
Drill 2 holes in each housing to line up with the PIAA light mounts.
Used 2 small nut/bolts, to bolt down the PIAA fogs to the housings
Ran the PIAA wire harness to each light(tie wrapped, & wire molded everything)
Installed the housings back into the car
Mounted the PIAA reley on the drivers side fender
Ran + to battery
Ran - to battery
Ran turn on to drivers side marker light
Ran the switch wire through the firewall

The TL switch isn't in yet. I'm tring to wire it now. I had to make a wire harness cause the switch has 5 pins, but the PIAA kit only has 3 wires. Should be in by the weekend.

i have fogs installed, but found a circuit that only allows me to turn them on only when high beams are OFF (inspection issues) and headlights are ON. I haven't bene able to figure out how to wire them so they turn on with just the corner lights yet.

That's the "legal" way to wire them. They should turn off when the high beams come on. I have no inspection so I wired them different. Hard to believe they really check something like that. You might be able to split the turn on wire & run it to the marker light also.

Actually they don't check them where I take my car, but I figured I'd rather have them that way just in case a cop that actually knows this law is having a bad day.

Installed the TL fog light switch, looks great, & looks stock. Lights up when I have my headlights on, & turns green when the fog lights are turned on, just like stock. The only thing it doesn't do is dimm with the dimmer, but I don't use that anyway. If anyone wants the switch pinouts PM me. Here's a pic, I know it's blurry, My camara doesn't take good pics anymore.
