If Tranny Issues Resolved...How Much HP Can Our Tranny Handle?
I spoke with my service advisor yesterday. He said that the original company that was building and rebuilding Acura CL trannies has since gone belly up. They now have a new company that has pin pointed a new problem besides the carrier bearings. He didn't know much beyond that, but did say that chances are if you've had your tranny replaces once when the old company was rebuilding them...they'll probably have to replace it agian.
Anyhow, now that our tranny issue is (apparently) resolved, I wonder how much extra power the tranny can handle? Anyone here with insight?

I would treat this as a UFO sighting -- wait for more witnesses to come forth.
