icebox question

icebox question

Will you hurt anything if you leave the top off the icebox?

well heres who i look at it.

With the top open=short ram effect, sucking in hot air from the engine bay
With the top on=CAI, since air is drawn from outside the engine bay

yea i was deciding if I liked the sound of the intake better with the top on or off.

Why get the icebox if your going to do about it. You just should have got a short ram if you were going to do something cheap like that.

The Icebox is designed as a unit. You will not benifit from an Icebox by leaving the top off. If you want more sound then the Icebox has get an AEM or Injen CAI.
