I need the Xephyr CAI Instr,

He used to have them on his website, but now the website is gone. I saw the AEM instructions, but I know that X's varies a little. Does anyone have the old X-Instructions?

I installed a X last month.
1) Disconnect tube at lower valve section.
2) Remove old air filter and lid. leave box there.
3) Remove lower noise baffel box from below.
4) Slide end tube (filter side) up through rubber ring that was left in the air box.
5) connect tube end back to baffels
6) connect to TB
7) put ring clamp around tube on the rubber ring down inside the air box

8) done

I did it this way and haven't had any problems for the last 3kmiles.

Thanks bud!

Hey I appreciate, unfortunately I had already done the install by the time I saw you post. I was looking at Shawn S's to figure it out.

Xephyr actually installed it for him. Check out right below the bypass and see the boot. That is the boot from the Air box, but he took the air box out. In all of the AEM installs they took out the air box and they didn't use that rubber boot, so that was throwing me off. Me and mcdanjw figured it out and made it work!

yes I had taken the air box out and then figured it would be better support with it in. I'm now designing a mod for the orginal lid so I 'll have stock appearance and have a place to remount the one loose cable. Unfortunatly I need a doner lid to experiment with. Also the box can't be air tight or the valve won't work if needed.
