I need power for detector Help

I read the V-1 installation in the FAQ section, but I would like to use the special 3M connector that came with my Escort 8600. The instructions say it needs to be a "switched" wire(one that is on when the car is on, and off when the car is off) with a wire gauge of 14 to 18.
Anybody know which wire I can use (near, or at the fuse holder) ?

In the fuse box in the driver's cabin, there are two rows of fuses. The long row (row #1) is near the driver. The short row (row #2) is near the engine.

An example of a switched fuse would be the third fuse down from the top on row #1.

you can just get like a metal piece that slides under the fuse and just tap the power for the ignition or other accessories, heated side mirrors fuse is the one I used.

Yes, Thank you. However, I want to tap in to one of those wires near the fuse area if possible
