i need help

i just remoived my intake resonator and when i went to rev my car in park/neutrul...the rev limiter would kick in at 5500..does anyone know hwy this would happen?

do not rev the car in neutral... not good.

it is?....in drive tho it wouldnt be that low..cause redlines up in the 7k somewhere?...i normal dont rev in nutruel..i just wanted to see if tehre was a sound difference

so is that a yes to the reve limiter cutting in after redline or 68k or whereever it is?

the rev limiter keeps your rpm below 5.5K in park or neutral.

If the vehicle is moving rev limiter allows the motor to rev higher.

5.5 in P or neutral, rev-limiter@ 7200 with Auto moving, not sure about 6 speed.
