I love how it cruises on the freeway with some decent power. I love the ergonomic setup of the console and quality of the materials. I love how it looks. But I hate it in the rain. I hate the transmission whine/whir sound.. I hate the poor stereo sound. I hate the ER foot brake. I hate the freaking big ass side mirrors that obstructs my vision when turning. I hate it but I also love it..
Maybe it's time to get a manual transmission CLS?

Hey you know what i hate?
When you get in the car and pull on the door to close it.... it seperates from the door. You know what i mean guys like theres slack in the panel. Wish there was a way to fix it!

If I was wrong about mirrors sorry. I had an 01 I bought in 2000 and a 03 i bought in 02, so I have experienced both. Besides the black on the bottom of the 01 mirrors I never noticed a difference. Both blocked the view equally it seemed, but it has been a long time.
No hate from me, only love. If I don't like something I mod it to my preference.
That sounds like an easy 30 minute or less fix. You either have broken clips or need to do the glue fix to the armrest.
As far as tires go, I think my 255's are plenty wide for performance with only 300whp or less. I am not sure going to 265 or 275 would help besides look cooler. I think 245's would probably be ideal.
I have been wondering about running narrower wheels/tires on the rear(reverse staggered) and whether that would be beneficial to getting the rear to rotate more for autocross.
