i test drove an is300 today, and liked it , its to small, to slow, but the steering is f*n amazing, i had it to 70 or so. and it feel like it will and can go any where you point it, well my question is this, can any one who has driven one say how comparable in the steering department will the cl be after springs and sways and better tires, i wanted to drive that car all day, even though it was cramped

I don't think anyone has really challenged the way the IS300 drives. People here just don't like the price tag or the looks.

The steering feel you wont acheive. You can get closer with new tires etc... but you wont get the same steering. The car is RWD... different weight balance... diferent steering setup etc... a lot more factors go into steering then suspension.

As for the handling... you can easily 1-up an IS's handling while still have a smoother ride.

well i can go to charlote and drive a cl with sways and springs and 18's on potenza re730's, and if that does not have what i am looking for, i guess i will have to wait untill summer and save up to get a 330 coupe, b/c the lex is just to small, i love the cl but cant stop thinking about the way the lex felt going around those corners
