I have a question about my Tint.....

well i just had my tint put on and the windows are still drying.. you know what i mean.. well anyways, the guy told me not to roll down my windows till 4 days, cuz we its like only 60 here and been raining..BUT its gonna be 65 tomrrow and 70 on friday and 75 on saturday... so does that mean they should dry faster? if its warm out then can i roll them down after 2 days??

yes you probably could, they told me to wait at least 3 days, but I rolled them down the next day (because I had to). As long as the weather gets warmer, then it should be okay.

I would think two days would be fine. I know here in Florida they say you only have to wait a day and a half to two days. If they get screwed up bring it back and say fix it

No more scratches thanks to the dumbass who walked on my car and had to pay to have it repainted.

I’ve always been told 2-3 days and I usually end up waiting a week to be sure.

My tint guy actually used painter’s masking tape to cover the switches so I wouldn’t hit them by accident.
Of course the passenger side can be turned off, but better safe then sorry I guess.

Yeah I am pretty sure that you can roll them down earlier, but like shawn said..better safe than sorry.

I didn't roll down for a couple of days because I didnt want to and didnt have to time to take my car back to get it retinted if I messed it up.

Don't know why you want to chance it, if there is ANY bubbles or foggyness in the tint DON'T. As an Ex- tint shop owner I know whats covered or not.
Make sure the rubber gasket down in the sill area(mounted on the inside of your door panel, up against the glass)is not wrinkled or bound up. This happens many times when they squeegy the tint down under the gasket.
It WILL tear up your tint if not cured.
They will know if you didn't wait and they will not "just fix it no charge" just because you tell them to, as others on this board may suggest.
It does't matter what the temp. is it's the humidity. If it's been raining, even if it's warm the film won't cure.
Hope this helps.
