JUST A DUDE

Dang, my next door's neighbors daughters, boyfriend has a 98 Eclipse. So on a Saturday evening around 7:00 he rings my doorbell he says he wants to race! I kinda giggled because obviously he was running a 4 year old Eclipse with only an exhaust system. Well was I in for it. Well I put my shoes on I say good bye to my wife and head out the door. Then my wife came rippen down the stairs and she said, "were are you goin" I said, "uhh Im going to buy some gatorade for the house painters at 7 Eleven. She says o.k. I jam to my desk grabbed my keys and rushed out the door. I pull out of my garage and I hear the Eclipses ricey exhaust note. He pulls up next to me and asked, "what street"? I reply how about Lincoln blvd, he says "fine with me". I thought very confidently that I would win. So we tail eachother to Lincoln Blvd. I power brake and he does the same (both slush boxes). In a couple seconds the light turns green I smoke my tires and the black Eclipse is ahead by a couple of car lengths, but when I get traction I shoot past him for a second! Then it was like he had NOS or something he shot past me at 65mph. We only went to the next light the Eclipse probably hit around 90 or so I hit 85mph. Then we head home on the way home I was thinkin that car is turbocharged or something. When we got home he took a look at me and he started bustin up. I said, "o.k. what kind of turbo do you have"? He says "let me show you my stereo first"! So he pops the trunk and there it is a huge subwoofer next to a NOS bottle. I said, "what? Thanks for tellin me about the nitrous"! So we talked for about an hour more we checked out eachothers cars. It turns out hes running a Greddy exhaust and 120hp nitrous. Sorry for the long post I just thought that you guys might want to listen in to my big mouth.

You could always use nitrous too although I am not sure how much your tranny can handle.. or you can always opt for the swift-raicng superchargers.. I saw a swift-racing lexus gs400 do a 12.08 1/4 mile
