Thanks.. It took about 3 hours or so (give or take screwing around and drying times). It still took about an hour to dry (even with the ZFX), probably due to the cold...

Got a question for devnull.....Do you have any swirl marks on your CL-S? I have an '03 Black CLS and try very hard to avoid them, but they are everywhere. I could not tell by your pic if you have them or not!

Not yet... On my 2001TLP I did, but that car was screwed up by the car wash anyway, so I kinda gave up. On this one, I do not let anyone wash it (dealer included). There are of course imperfections in this paint that show up more because it is black, but I can't say there are any swirls (yet). I think the use of Z5 (made for swirls) over Z2 really helps also. The towels were also new fieldcrest towels that I kept turning to keep the dirt away.

Black isn't easy, but when it's clean it is hard to beat...

Yes. I tried every excuse I had in my mind to get out of it (because I was freezing), but decided that I wanted it done right, so I reluctantly did.

Now I am glad!!!

Hmmm, thinking that "I just got Zaino'd" almost has a hidden sexual kinda connotation doesn't it? Like, "best zaino I ever had" or, "I could use a good zaino" or "she zaino'd me till the cows came home!" "We zaino'd till we couldn't take it any more, rested, and zaino'd again!"
