I got my car back, for those who care

About 4 1/2 months ago, I was involved in an accident. My entire front end was destroyed: see pic below

http://www.geocities.com/jerry5180/pg2.html

I just got the car back today. All I can say is WOW. It drives just like it did when I had it before. The CAI is a loud Mutha when in vtec, and hisses when in idle. The ride is PERFECT.

The transmission WAS NOT HURT AT ALL even after driving over 2 1/2 miles with NO TRANNY FLUID and NO WATER/RADIATOR.
I had no choice, I had to spilt FAST bf a cop showed up and could NOT wait on a tow truck. However, a "Solonoid Pack" Was replaced my the mechanic next door. He charged $423 and it WAS damaged by the accident.

All in all, the only pob. is the interior is dirty from people constantly getting in/out of the car at the shop(which is VERY dirty to begin with) I plan to hit the spots on the speaker grills/headliner with a high presser air line to kinda "blow" the loose dirt away.
the repair cost me $9823

The car's paint, well thats a diff story. The paint is not perfect. There is overspray on the roof and the rockers strips were not painted. they created scratches on my mirrors. I was told he would take care of it.

Right-click on the red x, and select properties. Highlight the link,

http://www.geocities.com/jerry5180/acc.jpg

and paste into your browsers address line...or just click the above.

Well, it looks like it's a geocities thing. copy the link into address and it'll work. You cant link directly to the pic (they don't accept a referring page request it appears)

Wow. Sorry to hear that dude. has the bodyshop given you a timeframe for your repair?

My entire frontend was bent like 15 degrees towards the passinger side. Everything from the strutmounting tower forward. They really spent some time straighting out the frame(2 weeks). But it looked perfect w/o the body panels on. The fit and finish is almost perfect, but the front bumpercap and the hood(between the headlamps and grill do not fit flush. The bumpercap needs to be pulled out about 1/4" to meet flush.
