I found a place that can wrap just about anything in carbon fiber, burlwood, aluminum
The carbon fiber is synthetic, along with the brushed aluminum, but it looks really good. They said they can wrap over any surface unless it's fabric. I'm having a few trim panels in my trunk done in the burlwood to match my bowling ball interior. My guess is this is the same technique Snook did with his wood trim turned carbon fiber. If anyone wants info PM me.

And this isn't like most kits where it's just something you put on top, they coat the entire panel..
