I forgot how fast my car actually was...

Well, i took my car in for some warranty work done, minor rattles and window rattling on its way down and for some squeaks here and there. They gave me a loaner car which is a 1.7 EL.. for those of you in the states it's just like a luxury version of the Civic EX, leather seats, warmers, power everything, abs and 4 wheel disc..etc..

well this morning i'm heading to work and everyone drives fast as usual.. (5:30am). Theres this Neon and a corolla all speeding and i'm flooring this EL (auto) and it's like.. DOESN"T MOVE! I hear the engine screeming as i floor it but the accelerator needle just creeps up. The old man in the corolla looks over and gives me this funny look as I was sipping my coffee and i'm thinking oh god.. now i wish i had my CLS6 back...

man these cars are a joke, specially in auto form. Same thing earlier yesterday as i'm going up this 30degree incline from a stop i floor it up the hill and it tops out at like 50km/hr and climbing very slowly... i take the same hill everyday and by the top of 2nd i'm up the hill at 70km/hr in a few seconds... arrggg.. i will never go back to an economy car.
