I Finally Bought A F^%#$ Car!!
Well,
I've been here for a long time and alot of you guys have seen my fickle ass go from car to car to car. The reality of it is that I have been trying to finally go independant with my own company but I could not get a bling bling car as well because I am not rich. I have a very very good IT job that I have been working at for over 6 years now, and if my intention was to stay with this company forever I could of just went and bought an M3 or something just as bling bling. Well, the more and more I thought about what I would need to become a full time independant consultant the more I realized a passenger car would not really do me as well since I need to move boxed servers and other stuff by myself. I am also going to be a partner in a home automation company which also would require something bigger.
A very very good friend of mine offered me his Chrysler Friend and Family discount which allowed me 1% under invoice plus all applicable rebates, I could not resist. I know this board is like 80% domestic haters and that's fine, just realize that car purchases are not solely made on 'what looks cool', for me, budget and future plans dominated the decision process.
I saved over $9000 on the cost of this vehicle and based on my financial decisions, it is absolutely the best bang for the buck. I left a deposit on the floor model (NOT A DEMO) and hopefully will pick it up next week as soon as I figure out what I have to do w/ the CLS.
2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited Edition
Black Metallic
Fully Loaded except for the up-country package which makes the ride too rough. Literally fully loaded.
ALOT of truck for less than the price of my CLS. Perfect.

Congratulations Ernie, but by the time Streeteffects gets done with the “trunk” you probably won’t even be able to fit a keyboard or mouse back there.

I need to drop Navigation in it, probably alpine since I can write it off on the new business as a need to get to clients. Ron from Streeteffectz is gonna fabricate the flush mount. This is a picture of the Cherokee interior with it's shitty Nav, you can see how I'll have plenty of room to drop in the bigger screeen.

Well, I ordered the High Intensity Discharge lights for the truck. I think that the nav and the lights are gonna be it for now. But then again you never know.
