I Figured Out Why My Wheel Was Making Noise...ardmore Acura Scary
I posted a bit ago about a weird sound and vibration coming from the right front of my car....I drop my car odd tonight and look at the wheel one last time as I drop my keys into the Acura Service night deposit drop box....I am missing 2 lug nuts
Here is the kicker....I had my car at the dealer on Friday! They forgot to tighten the lug nuts!!!!!!!!!!
Assholes could of killed me....Im willing to bet that when they put two more bolts on my car will be ok,,,
PHILLY GUYS BEWARE - Ardmore Acura was responsible for this as they inspected my brakes rotors and front end last week
Only redemption is if somehow I have bad ball joints and they somehow caused the lug nuts to fall off......Im fired up!

Go in there pissed as hell like your gonna rip someones head off for their stupidity. They should compensate you very nicely.

Myself and I'm sure Zapata will agree that we do not recommend these guys for anything!!

FWIW, on my pathfinder, I lost a wheel due to mechs not tightening lugnuts. This happened about 5 days after I had the rims off for some brake insp. Fortunately, it was just before going on the on ramp ~5mph. Still, falling on rear drum was $500.
The point is, on the nissan receipt there was written in 2 point type at the bottom "customer is responsible for checking torque on all nuts". I mean WTF?!? I was really pissed. The I learned that if you get alum rims / nuts tightened in a warm shop, then take them out in the cold, you do need to re-torque after a few hundred kms. Something due to thermal expansion? Anyways, maybe thats what happened to your CL?

I should probably check out West Chester Acura, I heard they give a loaner for most to all services, scheduled in advance. Anyone have any opinions about Montgomeryville Acura?

I feel your pain man, my dealer scratched my wheels while mounting new tires. they weren't trying to kill me (joke) but fucked something simple up. Hopefully everything turns out well for ya.
