i cant catch a stupid little sentra, WTF...
to make long story short... i pass on sentra on the ramp of the freeway entrance( 96-97 i dont know what year but the old ones, purple.. stickers all over the car, has exhasuts, white rims and i dont know what else he has). and i got blocked by a truck so he passed me then i changed lane to go chase him... and WTF... i cant catch up to him...... i was in 3rd gear near 5000 rmp about 80-90 MPH..... i have I/H/E....
Dude i swear that just pissed me off
it s either he has some crazy shit under his hood or there is something wrong with my car....

Last time I WAZ owned, I could not catch a Bimer not an M3 but some old generation 3 series...
He was doing 120+MPH in a 45 work zone on Rt-3
.... I just kept pulling till 3 digit speed and then gave up..... what an ass.... I let him flush out X-mass light-toped cars....

Ok, guys, before yall go on the "I have a Honda, and mine is quickest, if i lost, they spray"... before yall even go on..... OK, let me say something..... I used to have a 96 SER, with SR20DE 2.0..... and currently own a 3.2CL.....
Ok, DO NOT under estimate those little SR20DE.... factory, they are mid 7-low 8 car from 0-60..... about mid15-low16 1/4... thats stock.... Back then, Nissan had a habbit of de-tuneing their cars... ESPECIALLY SR20DE... in Japan, this motor is a 91 technology, so emission is crap.... So in order to make it here in US, they HAVE to detune the car......
I had one plus i work on the car the whole time, so i know..... only a CAI would bring the SR20DE back to it's life..... I ran a 15.45 with JUST a cold air intake..... then go on with header, exhaust and ECU...... and my 200SX end up with 14.51 with just bolt ons.... I do have all the slips.....
Before you say BS.... think abou tit, the car only weight 2400lbs with a 2.0 and torque motor... why is it not possible? If you think he spray.. you might want to think again... My car had 50shot, and its all computer controlled, ECU tuned specificly for NOS..... and it ran 13.45...
Those SER aint slow at all, due to the weight..... NOW, if you say "i have spank 200SX million times...", well, only 5% of ALL 200SX made were SER... most are 1.6 KA16DE.... now, THOSE ARE SLOW......

this is a pic of my car and with times on the pic.... 14.0 flat, cuz i need to get the bracket #1, so i slow down to 14.0 perfect... thats why i was the winner in the bracket run of 14.0-14.99

dont feel bad man....there is an old 200sx riding around our town that is sick....i know its no a sentra, but still....last time i saw him run, he ran a 11.3 @ 130 or something...it was nasty...and to top it off, its his daily driver. I know its disappointing to lose, especially to something like that, but just remember, no matter what there is always something out there that is faster

and i dontthink he has SC or Turbo and i dont think he has Nos either ( i dont hear BOV and i dont see no intercooler) and he wasnt pulling on me, he was just in front of me about 2 car length the whole time
most of the 4 bangers that r fast without turbo , N2o, SC ARE only fast at low speed like 0-80 or something.... but we were at 80+, i should be able 2 catch him....
andi know he is chinese.. cuz we all came out from this chinese plaza in rowland heights....and i think he got a passenger too....
and OH i forgot to mention .. he has a 3rd reverse light on the bottom of his rear bumper.....

I have to agree with Ed. I had a 1991 Sentra SE-R (They call it the Classic), and it ran 15.3 at 91 mph with just a intake. It also had 150k on the clock. I sold it about 1.5 years ago to a friend in Houston which has recently replaced the engine with a JDM, and added many mods. But that SR20DE is a very solid engine and is very quick.

My friends SE-R had the hotshot turbo kit...he was running 13.5 on street slicks...and he's fat...., figure if he weighed about as much as a normal person...he'd be running a lot faster...
