I can't believe a CLS actually tried to race me...
I didn't even race...waste of gas. Yeah so I guess he beat me by 10 car lenghts...too bad my wife was in the car 
otherwise it would have been a good 'ol fashion ass whoopen all around...off the line, moving start, from 60 from 70, name it!
Just kidding, but not kidding about the CLS trying to race me...come to think of it, I think it was a CL non S.
I was in VA 236 about 10PM tonight...
You - silver CL or CLS with lightly tinted windows with 3 passengers
You - kept passing me and slowing down for me
Me - sorry, unless you're pushing 350WHP I don't want to waste my gas

4thGsi, got rid of Dinan 540 a while ago for something different. I tell you, drove my buddy's NSX the other day...WOW!!! Can this car handle. Too bad it has next to no torque so I couldn't get use to it when it hit VTEC.

BTW, it really did happen. 3 guys in a Silver nonS (see I would know this and dickhead BMW buddy wouldn't know this) but he did have a TypeS badge, unless he just flat out changed all 4 rims. I would have given him a friendly go but wife was in the car and dickhead BMW friend was following me. I came on the board later on that night to see if someone posted a RS6 kill and buddy decided to have fun on the post I guess.
Allmotor, stock TypeS should smoke a A6 3.0 any day of the year. I don't think there is much support for the A6 3.0...If I'm correct, you have a turbo charged TypeS? SWEET!!!

Hey AC whats up... Long time man. I never see u around the area. So whats going on... My cousin told me u got an RS6... Congrats way to go man... Any plans for the RS6.. I bet a chip and some work can get it above 500HP mark easily. Anyways lets meet up or something soon.... we can also try running our cars against each other for few friendly runs I bet it would be fun.

389WHP and 402WTQ...got an updated Chip now so I'm going back to Curry's on Friday with updated Chip and Stock Chip. Will dyno with Stock chip first, then updated Chip next.
Some guy in CT with the same exact setup pulled 415WHP and 440WTQ...that's a bit high IMO.

I was shocked when I heard that cuz I know the mags are publishing those times as well but our tranny is so smooth it doesn't feel as fast as the numbers...know what I mean? I'm hoping to hit 11's in mine but we will see.

My buddy who owns an A4 knows the guy and has actually ridden in the car. He said its smooth as hell. I think the first time at the track the guy was only running 13.2s but once the car was more broken in and the weather was cooler ran the 12.4. I think he said it doesn't let you torque brake the car.

2000RPM is actually pretty good for us since MAX TQ comes in at 1900RPM and with AWD there is no slippage.

Been real busy at work, our fiscal calendar ended Sept 30th. Waiting for Congress to aprove a budget for FY04.
Don't drive the car too much right now, just giving it a rest( its 100 miles round trip to work everyday). I do get to drive it a little on the weekends.
I am debating going to the Audi Club, nationals in November at Sears Points(Infineon Raceway), or go to Laguna Seca with the BMW Club, or Laguna Seca with the Audi Club in February.
Car is doing fine, I think they did underate the tranny somewhat. Have 52k miles "chipped" and no problems. And that is with 30 runs at a drag strip, 50 runs with Gtech, and 8 days at the track.
The O.CT K04's are working perfectly. The Software is fine, its still running as I wanted - detuned - only .9bar, but still around 360HP and 350lbs. I did purchase a spare tranny from a S4 for $1000,(couldnt pass that up : ) ) and am still waiting to hear about an S4 Tips trouble with his Level 10 setup. Will wait till that gets cleared up before I have Level10 work on the spare tranny.
I am about through modding the car, I might put the Downpipes from Stratmosphere on soon. But other than that the car is setup perfectly for me and I can truly enjoy it, without thinking or getting caught up still in the "mod" race!! Its nice to just enjoy the car. I did suprise the heck outta a E36 M3 out of state car last week : ) on the freeway. went from 2 cars ahead to maybe 15??? by the middle/higher end of 4th. We had started at ~75-80mph. It was just slow and steady, not a visual route but after a little bit the distance just kept growing. Not like your monster!!!
Too bad you way on the other side of the landmass, would be nice to run in an event with you. Maybe take a vacation out here and have an event planned at Buttonwillow, Willow Springs or even Laguna Seca.

BTW, Bob at Stratmosphere is one awesome guy! I'm looking into O.CT Downpipes myself but Obersheyer (whatever) wont' custom write a software unless I have his exhaust and I already purchased Miltek so we will have to see.
