Well, I hate door dings and I hate more those idiots, motherfokers, Bag of scams, who put 2 freaking dings with 2 deep scratchs, 2" each.... I am so freaking now...

I just discovered those dings/scatshes on my driver's door,

Maguires' X remover did its best to hide the scratches bu the dings are still there,....

Whenever the weather warms up a bit, I am planning on dismentling the drivers door and try to message those dings out....


I hate irresponsible people who ding other rides....

Sorry to hear that Nashua_Night_Hawk.. I had a brand new Jetta back in the day It was just one week old ( No plates) and I took it to Six Flags. When I got back ready to go home I notice on my drivers side this big ding about a size of a nickel right on my door. To make it worse they had dinged my door so bad that they chipped the paint and you can see the metal color of the door. I was so freaking pissed I couldn't believe it, my brand new car with a ding & chipped paint!! Of course the people that did it were gone. But the worse part was that whoever did it knew that they had dinged my car because I saw there greasy finger marks all over my Shiny black paint.

It's been about 8 years ago..I don't even own the car anymore but I'll never forget ...That Hurt!!

It is very annoying when people do that....I don't park next to old fart mobiles, because its usually them that fling open their doors- they just don't pay attention, yes I'm pointing fingers.

But it also doesn't help that our body panels are made out of F*ing tin foil, with no side protection to boot.

Hey Beltfed..I was with my friend and he purchased a Saturn, and he says to me one night " look what I can do" so he goes to his drivers side door and totally pushes the body panel in..I was like WTF is he doing All of the sudden his body panel bounces right back out, like if it was Rubbermaid or some shit like that.
Pretty Cool though... I was like Dayum! A Rubermaid Car

Yeah, I wondered the same thing. I was told by the Salesman that they didn't want to break up the smooth lines with bodyside moulding.

I've seen their work, amazing and not expensive. See if it's in your area. I know they come right to my Acura dealership which is cool but, knock on wood, I haven't needed them. Ask your dealer and see if it can be done next old change.

These guys were at the Park Ave meet last spring. The guy was popping out dents left and right with no effort. Didn't charge a lot either. I think he quoted me around $65 - $75 for 4 dings, 2 of which were rather large. I don't know if that's their regular rates or what they were charging that day.. but still not bad...

I park as far as possible to avoid Shizznit like that, and if someone goes out of thier way to ding up my ride (not with my CL......so far), I ding'em back.

I know what you mean! I JUST GOT DINGED at my parking lot. I am so phucking mad.....It's on my passenger door and I have a Black CLS now with Ding and white lines. WTF

Yep Dent Wizard charged me $130 for my last door ding. It was $130 for 1" long ding.

65-76 for 4 dings is an excellent rate....

I wished I can get them off for $50.

What did they do to get the ding out? Any resanding, painting, hammers, or anything i should worry about involved? And does it look like new after they finished? My baby has this ugly ass ding in it and it's noticeable b/c the car is shiney black. Got dammit! I need help....I want the ding out now!

They will take out the ding not the scratch.

I did not see them working on my car. I dropped my CLS at the dealer and the Dent Wizard guy took care of it. It was barely noticable after it was fixed.

My understanding is that they would message the ding from inside using a kind of flat sticks....

I just called my dealer and they charge 120 per panel. That can be bad and good I guess.

Bad = I only have one ding!

Good = If you have like 4 dings on a panel they will take them all out for that price.

I think that price is pretty high however, if you see the ding ....you'll know why I am press.

This topic freaks me out!!! My black is spotless and I park at a Park N' ride every morning (even though I park along a curb so nobody can park next to me.....every morning....doing it for about six months now....never had to park anywhere else.....it's a thing of beauty!!!)
I hate old fucking people.....they swing their doors way out....they shouldn't even be allowed to drive!!! I saw this old man yesterday getting out of his car....it took him like four fucking minutes of rocking and re-adjusting his god-damn ass in the seat to get out. Ya'll know what I'm taling about. No worries about the car next to them. I got really angry. I'm a prick, I know, but I just couldn't help but think if this asshole was parked next to me at the local supermarket. UGH :angry:

Yeah, i got a scratch from old uhh woman's taurus a week after I got the car
I just got it tinted and was talking with my friend on dunkin donuts parking lot
she pulled in next to me - there was enough space between the cars for an elephant to go through
next thing i know she swings her door open as if it's the swat unit knocking it down
I was lucky as she only left like 1mm wide scratch that is not really visible
one inch closer I would have been left with the right mirror
when I asked her wtf was that
she said "What? you want to report me?"

then she started reparking to get away from my car cause I was so obviously pissed
