Huge FMIC on my DSM

I know i sold my acura a while ago, but i wanted to share a little of my project. My DSM. I'll try to get some more pix on the page with in the next week or so.

i'm looking to get low 12's, but well see. I wanna smoke a M3 or a Vette and watch there face. I have to get it running first though. My new head should be here in about a week or 2.

If the rest of the motor is equal to that intercooler you shouldn't have a problem. Damn that's big!! Should have intake temps around ambient with that.

It wasn't as bad as you would think. It came as a bolt on with all the nessary pipes and couplings. I'm gonna be running a 16G Evo III turbo. I didn't want to go to the 20G cause i wanna keep it streetable. I wanna keep it spooling up at a low RPM. But, if I need more power, i might get the 20G later on.

if you can believe it .. my friends 90 AWD eclipse actually has a BIGGER FMIC than that. we had to cut out the majority of the bumper and steel bumper support with a sawzall to fit it. He runs a T3\T4 though.

Yea, i was looking at them too. I'm didn't want to do too much cutting, so i stuck with a smaller one.

Yeah, 2nd gen are almost the same if not worse! Don't even know how those cars breath w/those little things!
