hey guys i have 103K miles on the ODO of my '02 CL auto and my tranny has been lurching and slipping slightly especially when i have a full load of people in it and its hot out (first tranny died at 55k). Acura said only that if the check engine light is not on that there is nothing they could do. they also said that they fluid is a little dirty and that i should change it. according to the owners manual the fluid doesnt need to be changes until 120k miles on the tranny which would mean i stillhave plenty of time. if i dont change the fluid and it dies soon can they hold me liable for payment of transmission replacement if i am still within 109k transmission warranty? I have a feelin the the tranny is going to go right after the 109k mile tranny warranty. is there a way to ensure it goes before the next 10k miles by draiining the fluid out or anything? thanks for the input.
