How to reset ECU?
I was messing around with the fuse box to find a good wire to tap to hardwire my V1, and now both my Check Engine light and SRS lights are on. I'm assuming it's just because I was pulling fuses with the ignition on. I suspect I just need to reset the car's computer or engine control unit. Obviously if there's a real problem they'll come back on after reset. So:
How do I reset the computer / ECU / error codes to make the SRS and Check Engine lights go off?
[Note: I am not talking about the Maintenace Required light!]

seeing as you pulled so many fuses you affected more than one computer, the easiest and best way is to pull the negative batter cable and leave it off for 30 minutes, when you reconnect it remember that you will need you radio activation code and also when you start it up let it idle for about 10 minutes its relearing everything. then everything should be good.

There's a fuse on the passenger side fuse panel that says something like "back up" or something like that. That'll reset the ECU. Oh and you should connect your V1 to the windshield wiper fuse.

Who said anything about the ABS module or the "body control" module? WTF is a "body control" module anyways? If you have the key in the ignition and disconnect the wrong fuse or disconnect the battery the SRS light will come on. (SRS = airbag system).

the body control modual is in charge of the srs system its also incharge of your windows, power seats, power mirrors and anything else that is powered, in cars today when you hit a switch your not powering the component what your doing is asking a computer if you can do that, then it does it, if it can, so its like this, you hit the drivers side window button, a signal goes to the body control modual that says he wants the windoow down, it then checks to see if everthing is good with the window, if everythign is good then it powers the window down, thats how it also shuts off the window if something gets caugh in it, it sees the spike in amps and shuts it off, it knows how many amps it takes to put the window up and it sees to many and off it goes. really it controls your whole car.

Resetting SRS error
OK, so I pulled the "Back Up" fuse and that reset the ECU (Check Engine no longer comes on).
But the SRS light is still staying on. Is there a way to reset that without completely cutting power from the battery? I'd like to save my Homelink and seat memory settings and not have to hunt down my radio/nav codes if possible.
