How To NOT cut your intake with a TB spacer and gaskets
K I dunno how to link pictures cause I'm a lazy f**k and spend too much time working on my car LOL.
But it's in my garage there are 2 pictures

I cut off 1/2 of the original bushing so 1/2 of it was still sticking out. Then took the other 1/2 with the bolt still in it and cut off 1/2 of the remaining polyurethane. Then I got a piece of steel laying around the house and cut it to the proper length and shape and then put one BAD ASS bolt on the support bar as shown in the 1st picture. Then I drilled through the steel a hole so the original bushing threads could go through it and then connect to the intake bracket.
Between the steel plate I secured being really tight and and old bushing pressing up against the back of the other side of the bushing I cut. It's SNUG as could BE
Like it's tighter than before with everything NOT GIMMY RIGGED.
Just for all u out there who do not want to cut their intake and are up for the challenge.
Cheers

good point and I forgot to mention, the intake will not hit the frame of the car at all, as it did on certain bumps before. Now it's all good.
Funny, Orginally I was going to just cut back the bushing and re-use the same loaction. My buddy say to cut it back and there'd be metal going through the whole thing. Well he was dead wrong! so I spent the next hour thinking and making something for this new problem.
And it turned out for the better.
never did thank my buddy though. LOL
