How much HP do you think i have?

With all the mods i have installed CIA,HEADERS,EXHAUST how much HP do you think i might have now? Stock CL-P has 225hp.
Do you think i will be able to beat a stock type S with my mods?
It feels a hell of a lot faster then when stock.

you might be close to 260 hp. ClP has a very restictive exhaust. extra 35hp with those mods is possible

Have a dyno runs, could be as low as $60 on dyno day deal.

I assume that a CLP would dyno at 175-180 WHP. Hitting 200 WHP is really possible with your mods. However, to be frank with you look at the Torque numbers, if your engines makes 175 lbft of torque or more then you are as good as Type-S. Also what is your redline? les than a Type-S?

My red line is at 65000. I driven a couple of type S and it seems like it's faster in the long run, but my car feels so much more aggrasive from the pedal and feel its not funny.

I had the option for a Type S or CLP with NAV for 26400 out the door. I really liked the navi and the insurance wanted 800 a year for the S so I got the P instead. I'm happy with it since i love the NAVI.

you can do type s cam or a pulley kit,for more power, but if you have some money to spend you can buy a s/c for your car, you can make a v6 accord s/c fit , it bolts right on but you will need it tune to run right

I also thought that the same mods on a Type-S reasted better. In other words while a type-S might get peak of 30-40whp from your mods the P might only get 25-35 whp. Either way I agree with Nashua in that the torque numbers are close enough that your modded CL-P would be just as quick (possibly a tad quicker) as an S. It would be a good race. You should find someone and race them.

Where in CT do you live BTW? Do you have pics of your car?

I dunno, the CL-P makes 20 less Peak lb/ft to begin with. It also makes this amount over a narrower band and later in the revs. The mods mentioned would mainly increase the torque up high narrowing the peak gap on a stock CL-S, but the low end would still be less.

IMO, Nashua's numbers are tad generous for a stock CL-P. They use the same transaxle so the parasitic loss would be the same at about 23%. This would put a stock CL-P at about 173 WHP.

But on the original question, my estimate would be in the 195 - 200 WHP range.

It's all good!

I mean seriously, how often do we push our cars on a regular basis to even 8/10th.. 7/10th?? So I'd say with your mods, you will probably keep up with another CLS just fine, even if it's just a little friendly red light run to the speed limit..

On the track.... that's a different story.

I will soon post pictures as soon as the springs are on next week Thursday. I live in Newington, CT. There is a hugh car seen here, as I live on one of the crazyest car hage outs in CT.
