how much did it cost you to install CT Sways?
i talked to a few dealers and they want anywhere from 330-225 to install the sways..how much did it cost you guys to have them installed? where'd you have them installed? any ideas where i should do it in LA? i don't wanna pay the same price i paid for the sways to install them..that would just plain be stupid.
Thanks

Shop around. The dealerships are on crack. I called two of them in Denver and one wanted $180 and the other wanted $220, claiming it was a 4-hour job.
When I called another independent place, they wanted $160. I was frustrated, but the last place I called wanted only $75. I think the difference in price was because the last guys had installed CT Sways before and knew it was no big deal, so they charged appropriately.
The other placed just winged it. Shop around and good luck.

Seriously, if you have enough skills to jack up your car and pull your wheels off, then you can install the sway bars. It's an hour long job, front and back...MAX.

i did it in my garage with major help from sidemarker...
i initially wanted to pay someone to do it and the dealer told me $60 per bar. I knew sway bars are simple add-ons and i wasnt gonna pay that much.
If u really cant do it urself without any help then call PRIVATE shops... u should be able to get around $60-80 total charge. Even $100 is too much IMO

what you need -
a turney clicky thing
some metric wrenches and sockets, 14mm,17mm![Dunno](https://acurazine.com/forums/images/smilies/dunno.gif)
i don't have sways yet so i'm not sure on the exact sizes, but i think thats all you need.

$100 from a dealer, I don't have jackstands and well, I'm lazy
After putting in my CAI myself (which would be no big deal if the bolt layout for 2000+ cars werent slightly different then the bolt layout for my 99TL) I didn't feel like discovering firsthand what revisions Acura has made between years again.

When I did mine, I was helped tremendously by guys from this board and I'm sure all that info is stored away somewhere nice and neat for you! You can ignore the needlenose pliers though. I was told they were necessary and used them, only to find out later that there is a hex bolt in the end......
Anyway, the front one the more difficult one, but all in all, not that bad. The key is when you pull out the old one to lay it on the ground just as it came out. Then put the new one in the same way! Don't try and put it in upside down and backwards, like I did!
Good luck!
