My mom is hanging over my shoulder as I type this... She wants to sell her 1990 Legend and get a Mercedes C320... Anyway, forget about the Mercedes. She didn't take care of the leather and its all torn/cracked and dried out. There are a few rust spots on the side around the wheel well. Should she get the inside seats redone with a good matching vinyl, have the rust spots fixed and sell the car this summer? Or, leave it be and sell it/trade it in this summer without spending $500 on the seats and whatever the bodywork would cost? It is a 1990 Legend ls Sedan with 190,000 miles. If she opts to sell it privately, how much should she ask? Discuss!
